After installation, you should find the following Layer2 Data Providers in the BDLC List Settings provider dropdown:
If you can't find the above providers in the list, please follow these steps to set up the Layer2 ADO.NET Providers:
    Note: You must install the providers on each server (web front-end and application) in your farm!
  • 1. Navigate to the "Layer2 ADO Providers" directory in the BDLC distribution package.
  • 2. Run the appropriate .MSI installer:
    • For modern Windows versions (Windows 8/8.1, Server 2012, or newer), run SetupX64.msi.
    • For older Windows versions (Windows 7, Server 2008, or older), run SetupX64_NET35.msi.
  • 3. Follow the installer instructions.
  • 4. Verify the providers are now present in the drop down within the BDLC List Settings dialog.
    • If you still cannot see them, verify you installed the right provider package for your version of windows and that you have installed on all Web Front-End servers.
